Hello again old 49'r Ok thank you Rose for not being to pickie about my spelling cause then i would be in real trouble! But what the hell spelling never payed all that well anyways i reconed. You must have seen this fireplace unit somewere it looks like the letter U sideways open end faceing you it put the logs in the tubes are 1 inch diamiter and hollow maybe 8 or so a couple inches apart then a larger tube in frount 2 inch diamiter ties them all togeather and a steel flex hose hooks on to the larger horizinal tube and goes to the plug in fan unit 120 volts but i can plug in the old v.w. bus fan if need be and run it on 12 volts. So the gold and siliver is in 1/4, 1/2 and 1 oz. coin if need to use for barter and the wood is good dry hardwood maple ,ash , and oak 6 cords the ols back still sore hauling it all into the basement.Got kiln drided hard wood leftovevers from local furunture mill 2 pickup loads for kindlin 14 bucks a pickup good deal ha. Got to go finish dinnier as i got off ealy to day and Karen is expecting dinnier on the table when shhe gets home . This meens Bar-ba-que night but i make a damn good bake potato! Regards Ron Pitts

o49r, would be nice if you could itemize a list of future events to happen after 1/1/2000. You could speculate in catagories like political elections, medicine, music and any other of the 1,001 areas of life. Also in degrees like unlikely to likely, with a couple of never and absolutely, predictions. Just in fun and for entertainment and to later show others your stuff. Now, the comment made below, is you the secret person ? But before that, just a simple comment about y2k things to do before the 1/1/00 turns into a 1 Jan 1900. Water, as in buy from a sporting goods store a supply of tablets to add to the water to be obtained after the initial clean supply is used up. My tour overseas in 1968 was a constant searcing for drinking water, and learned very quickly was that after about 3 days of minimal food your mind did not put much thought or important on food intake, but go 3 days without much water and you will "go mad" in the sense that your thoughts will become overpowering in forcing you to obtain water to drink from anyplace. And I mean anyplace because I reached that point as I filled my canteen with water from a big hole that had water collected at the bottom, and I tried to drink it knowing that a NVA person was inside the water and quite bloated and blacken. Tried but could not swallow the gulp I put into my mouth. Felt slimly. So forget food as number 1 to cover, as the water to drink and not have will be what causes people to do things unthought of. Shelter from the cold and water, then food. ... the source that gave us the right on Tiger "heads up" months ago was the same source who told the Cafe this summer about "government to government" negotiations going on that would eventually have a positive effect on the gold price. In case another reader is new to this thread, the above mention of a place called the Cafe is as follows.
