am learning too, albeit slowly. I used to let losers run for miles, but man, if i had a winner i'd want to get it the hell out of my portfolio!!!! PS The last couple of weeks have been my best for a looong time, but I have still left a pile on the table............ D, I have the same problem but it is improving with the quality help from this thread. I must stop writing covered calls in this very bullish environment too. The calls left a lot on the table for AOL and CSCO. I have learned to cut losses much more quickly too. I also have decided the risk reward for shorting is not good and no longer take a short position. Glenn
