I always have this question about stock splits, and perhaps you or someone else can help me.
ARBA will pay shareholders on record of 12/3 a stock dividend payable on 12/17. So when is the stock price halved?
If I buy between these two days at a pre-split price, will I get the stock dividend on the distribution date, since I am not on record on 12/3/
I own shares of TMIC, the hottest Japan OTC stock this year, it also trades on NAZ as ADR. TMIC announced a 3-1 split two months ago, and trades now at the post split price, but its dividend is not payable until later this month. So that means if I sell any of my TMIC, I will get the post-split price but only the pre-split shares, isn't is weird?
