Thread, does anyone have any detailed tech specs on the Qualcomm Globalstar handset ... beyond what is on the Qualcomm website?

One of my holdings, Valence (VLNC), is taking off behind the possibility that they will be providing Qualcomm a new high-density battery technology for this device (Lithium Polymer). VLNC has a PO in hand from a unidentified OEM ... and the peripheral details narrow it down to ya'll.

I'd like to grok the power consumption of the Globalstar handset to assess the implications for VLNC as supplier.

Valence is an interesting story ... this PO is the first for them as they transition from R&D to production ... and also the first, or near-first, for lithium polymer technology. VLNC surged on the news ... but they are still way undervalued due to their obscurity. Personally, I'm looking for a 10-bagger as LiPoly moves into phones, PDAs, and laptops ... producing 4x or more power at lighter weight.

Anyway, I'd sure appreciate some tech-bytes if there are any Globalstar hackers hanging out here.

Cheers, all.
