Excellent post..follow all the stocks mentioned except NMRX and GDC.. Anything you would post would be appreciated and valued. Very discerning of you to notice the "overbought" in the August newsletter. Now if I were to write over it would have to be EXTREMELY overbought. Stock trading has changed even since August as overbought positions (i.e. GILTF, JDSU, BVSN, SEBL, BOBJ, PPRO,CLFY, etc.) are held longer than usual. Its only stocks that are overbought and have spiked considerably in 1-2 trading sessions that I would be shy of holding. Nowadays stocks like NOVL, NVLS, JDSU or even (NTAP saw that great action today).. are overbought and continue to make new highs and thats par for the course and would not necessitate selling unless the following criteria were also present:

a) The earnings were going to be announced the next morning or after the close today (then its just an unnecessary risk)

b) The stock reached its 52 week high today on exploding volume. That might sound implausible, but yes usually unless it was because of extraordinary news (new contract with big company, first positive quarter) I would sell a company that reaches a new high, I would then buy it back within 3-7 days.

c) The company was in a 10-day - 2 week correction and it spiked up today and closed at 75% and higher of its intraday range. Then I would give it another day or two to exhaust the new trend even if it reached a 52 week high that day. I might then expect a gap up the next morning.
