I had a friend who did that. My neighbor stopped in and was talking about her daughter. The daughter is 18 but her mind stopped at 8 execept for computers. On that she is a whizz. Her doctor thinks she might have leukemia. He wanted tests done in Chicago but there is a clinic 30 miles away that does them. They need a recommendation and the doctor won't give it. We live in such a fucked up world. He wants... shit the girl should be the first concern.
