All of the Metro Optical aggregation begs the question - who WANTS to go to the "Metro"? This costs the individual hours a day in commuting. Why should individuals give up their time (the one commodity you can't buy or aggregate) so that the carriers can be more cost effective? With the bandwidth capability that is being developed, the virtual workplace becomes "doable". What are the member's opinions of the social vs. technical ramifications? Technology has made some astounding leaps. Isn't about time that it gave us some of our life back? Ed
