Froche and Bozwood, I don't check in here very much so sorry it's taken awhile to reply. Here are some
directions for you both in answer to your questions: Click on the following site
quote.com and scroll to Quote .com Mutual Fund Reports by Lipper
and then in the Search By Window select "Historical Returns". It is really quite easy which will show you
the top 50 Mutual Funds for 1 WEEK, 6 MONTHS, One YEAR, etc. I look at the "One Week" for
current hot funds but base buying decisions mostly on 6 month and 1 year returns. I could care less what
happened longer than 1 year. I then click on each fund of interest and you will have everything you need
to make your decision i.e. loads, minimum investment, returns for the period, holdings, etc. ( I would be
careful of a strong performing fund with large over weightings in one individual stock under the
HOLDINGS HEADING). It is really quite easy to ride on the coat-tails best of the best truely
professional managed mutual funds with their very expensive research teams. During the past (just shy of
15 months which is when I stopped trading individual stocks) my portfolio is now up about 194 percent. I
would have to guess that I am currently beating out 98 % of Wall Street Pros which I am not a
professional and make no claims to be one. I like having a 25-35% exposure to Japanesse Funds and the
rest in U.S. funds. To contact me it is best to use my E-Mail which is kavier@mediaone.net. Good Luck! Ken P.S. I doubt that I will ever own another individual stock again as long as I live.......
