Do you think the rights set forth in the Constitution are a result of MODERN THINKING ?? Think again.. the right to remain silent was establish by Jesus Himself by His example at His Mistrial ! Isaiah 53:7 He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth. Isaiah recorded this behavior in 750 BC ! He only spoke when they " adjurded Him by the living God " Matthew 26:63 But Jesus held his peace. And the high priest answered and said unto him, I adjure thee by the living God , that thou tell us whether thou be the Christ, the Son of God. It was only then That Jesus decided to tell them He was GOD ! Your theory might be considered but in Calvin's day and in Paul's it was both hated by most and loved by the few ! As saith Paul: Romans 9:19 Thou wilt say then unto me, Why doth he yet find fault? For who hath resisted his will? As far as being Equal... they are made equal by God in some ways... All men are equal under law Both God's and Man's Under God's law all men are condemned to death as unholy and imperfect in the sight of a HOLY GOD... Only the Elect are pardoned under Jesus as a Gift earned by Him at the Cross ! All men are to be treat well by others.. God tells the Elect to love their Enemies and to do Good to all but especially other elect individuals: Galatians 6:10 As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.
