See Greg, as you know, it is not about the best technology winning it is about the best marketed "acceptable" technology winning. CDMA may be the best technology, but that an a nickel will get you a cup of coffee at McDonalds. Ask RMBS; the minute INTC drops support, RMBS is history. CDMA seems to have gained enough critical mass for staying power but not enough for world domination. Similar to the RMBS/INTC/DRAM value chain, QCOM would do nicely to have the following value chain set up; QCOM designs the CDMA ASIC's INTC mass produces CDMA chips (along with others including Q) NOK or MOT mass producing CDMA phones WCOM/SPrint PCS marketing them If this happened, "Katie bar the Door!!"
