I am trying to wake up somebody in here is it YOU ??? Well, no, actually I'm just about to go to bed. All I can say is this: God does the drawing. Man chooses to believe or not. Granted, one can not communicate with God unless God initiates contact. However, as Romans 1 says, the things of God are clearly seen being understood by the things that are made. Sooooo, even though man is incapable of saving or sanctifying himself, he is capable of recognizing there is a God and if he so CHOOSES (which is the will of God for ALL ((not willing that any should perish, remember?))) he can allow the seed to take root and be the one of the four in the parable of the seeds who bears fruit. I'll say it again. God is looking for relationship with man. He is not looking for automatons. He looks throughout the whole earth for those whose hearts are perfect towards him. Remember that scripture? Why look if he knows where they are and has produced that perfectness in them? Does that make sense? Seems redundant to me. God so loved the WORLD!!! Why didn't he say, God so loved the CHOSEN? Don't give me the scripture from John 17. Don't be a JW. Stick with the subject and then talk about John 17. Jesus died for mankind. He is the saviour of ALL MEN, especially those that believe. Not ALL men will choose to be saved. Many will reject the Spirit's prompting. Many will have it snatched away before they even think of it. Many will rejoice at the beginning and then allow it to ebb away. Others will have more important things to contend with rather than their eternal destiny. Yet there are some, Glory to God, who will respond and bear much fruit, causing much rejoicing in heaven. Alright, goodnight.
