50 would be a double top for ATHM, not 46. If it breaks 50, it could go a lot higher, but from what I can gather the resistance is quite significant.

As far a AOL goes, they don't need ATHM. So forget about that. They are doing great as it is. IF they get broadband through ATHM that's fine if they don't that's okay too. My suspicion is that they are waiting for the FCC decision on DSL on Thursday, which if positive for the DSL's would give AOL broadband without ATHM.

In summary, I really don't see the speculation about AOL needing ATHM. It's something that the ATHM stockholders would like more than anything else.
