I would be curious as to the context of this statement relative to the question. He also said referring to this particular ramp that the situation was not atypical. To meet an upside demand condition, maybe a more mature .18 process would be needed. Yes indeed, a perfect world where inventory vs. orders is always net sum zero would indeed be very cool.

BTW, Alfs (Intel spokesperson) yesterday said that production schedules are being met. Did Gelsinger say today that they were not? I didn't get that.

We could go on and on arguing about how the .18 ramp is going. It's sort of pointless, because my hands are tied w.r.t. specifics. You all will just have to hash it out until it becomes apparent at the Q1 CC.
