Bilow, 820 mobo's with RIMM and/or DIMM?
The 82805 data sheet shows the mobo configuration having a Rambus channel with two RIMM's connecting to the MTH and two DIMM's.
Does this imply a design that can support either memory type? Haven't heard of that solution.

Mispelling Solano as "Celano" and relegate as "regulate" sure increases my confidence in their thoroughness and insight.

Carl, the article you linked has a few too many inaccuracies in it to be taken seriously. For instance, the article talks about a DDR chipset named "Amador" coming in January 2000. Two words: Yeah, right. It's reasonable to assume that Intel won't be coming our with a DDR-enabled chipset that early. In fact, Intel probably isn't in any rush to be first to market with DDR. (Speaking of which, I've never heard of any project called "Amador." It could be a gross misspelling of another project name, but I don't know of any details.)

The article also says that PC133 is currently supported by the MTH component. That's also wrong; MRH-S (a.k.a. MTH) supports only PC100.
