Mary,

Having greater media savvy would be nice but Intel's synergistic strategy is much better. Otellini seemed to have a certain air of confidence about him as well he ought. I liked it.

It can't compare to the performance of John Chambers I saw later. This guy is hyper when he talks about his company and the excitement he generated was palpitating, at least for a long term stockholder and Jan options holder like me.

Intel exudes quiet confidence. Without hyperbole or exaggeration or prognostications of low probability events. From all outward appearances, they always say exactly what they mean. The interpretation of that by the analysts never ceases to amaze me though it provides many a buying opp.
