Man could we have a discussion there based on that statement koanhead.I am a hunter,(big game)yet I have two dogs(retreiversXchow) 2 cats(persians) and 2 kids and I love them all dearly.I think the problems we have with the fur industry,the seal harvest and according to this thread comments (guns and gold)is people(generally a small but loud group of activists) trying to tell the greater numbers what the heck they should and should not do or like. Next time you eat a steak or a hamburger or put on a pair of shoes think of the big blue eyes of the cow that just got shot between the eyes to provide that or if the cattle farmer didn't like guns think of the maul they hit them over the head with.Sure hope their kids are loved and well adjusted...... We could get into some discussion here but I don't want to waist bandwidth.Guess what I am trying to say is it is all a matter of what is socially accepted at the time or that which is done to try and sway public opinion.
