John, I believe that Scott McNealy's appointment to the GE board has given him a lot more credibility. The fact that Scott was appointed to that board around the time the findings of fact came down in the MSFT case provided an additional boost to his credibility. I believe a lot more people are beginning to realize that McNealy must be taken very seriously. And, as irony would have it, GE has just surpassed MSFT as the largest market cap stock. An interesting confluence of events.!

I think there has been a not so subtle flow of money out of MSFT into SUNW and AOL. With the possibility of a MSFT breakup becoming increasingly likely, and the view (not universal, of course) that the sum of the MSFT parts may not necessarily be worth more than the whole, this money flow could continue and even accelerate.

I am most impressed by the prospect that all kinds of business will be generated between SUNW and the various subsidiaries and entities of GE. I really cannot think of a better company for SUNW to partner with.

JMHO, of course.

Regards.
