Seem's to me this would be a desirable solution for the box makers. CRIMM's can't cost much. One mobo solution for either memory type certainly simplifies things.

Hi Ian Anderson; A possible problem with the 2+2 type motherboard is that the channel length would be a little longer than the channel length of a 2-RIMM motherboard. Anybody know if that has been tested?
