RE:"Hi Jim-
I knew we could agree on something: We both think you are better off in the States."

Apparently a lot of people think they are better off in the States.
BTW, the next time I'm in PDC I'll look you up. Shouldn't be that long. Ought to be good for a few laughs...

Jim

Intel Having Trouble Meeting Pentium III Demand, WSJ Says

Santa Clara, California, Nov. 17 (Bloomberg) -- Intel Corp. said it is having difficulty meeting demand for its Pentium III microprocessors, the Wall Street Journal said. The chip-maker said it is unable to meet orders from its PC manufacturing customers, and Pat Gelsinger, vice president and general manager of Intel's desktop products group, said several factors have put pressure on the company's supply chain, and ''we're scrambling.'' Company spokesman Michael Sullivan said ''We're tight on supplies across our product line, including the new Pentium IIIs,'' the Journal reported.

Intel, the world's largest chipmaker, earlier this week released its twice-delayed 820 chipset, setting the stage for faster personal computers using Rambus Inc.'s memory-chip standard.
