Richard, Thank you for the response. I have already read Ralph Block's book "Investing in REITS", and also read his weekly REITWEEK internet column. Both very helpful, as are these boards. What I am now looking for is some detailed periodic current information, such as a REIT newsletter. Realty Stock Review is the only one I have been able to find so far, (and the one mentioned on the Motley Fool Board), but the price is steep for an individual investor. $249 for the first year, $349 (I think) after that. I went ahead and subscribed, figuring that one good idea will pay for the subcription. I have some background in Real Estate, and have made very good paper profits investing in misunderstood High Tech "value stocks" (i.e. Tech stocks trading well below what I feel their stock price should be based upon potential growth. Can anyone say "Qualcomm" :) ?) this year, so figure it is time to diversify into other misunderstood, undervalued, and out of favor areas like REITS. I am a long term holder, so as long as the dividends cover my margin interest as a minimum, and provide internal and future dividend growth, I will be a happy camper, even if the stock price lags. O.T. The Motley Fool board is really a pain, having to download one message at a time. I read on another board several weeks ago that they do this to maximize the number of "hits" they get in order to maximize advertising revenue, which is based on the number of "hits" they receive. Short sighted, I think. By making the Motley Fool sight less user friendly, it will eventually lose total market share. Oh well. Great Investing to All, Steve
