G'day all - this is definitely very self-serving <VBG>, but on topic nonetheless, since I just took a tiny positions in CDO and WCG only 2 days ago

Bosco - As you know, I live and work in the great Pacific Northwest. I am very proud of that fiber optic link and what it means to the participants. I am sure that Microsoft and my alma mater, the Univ. of Washington, will benefit greatly from the experiments on that link. The plans call for that network to extend from San Diego to Seattle. It would seem to make sense to extend another link from Seattle to Vancouver BC - a distance of only 150 miles. I don't hear too much about the routers being used in that network but I believe they are Avici routers. I think Nortel will make a lot of money from their investment in Avici even though they have decided to go with the Bay Product.
