Softlink Voice and Compression Technology Key to Telsys'
Mobile Phone to Pc Voice Email Solution

Softlink, Inc. (OTC BB: SFLK), the leader in multimedia email
software, today announced that TelSys Network Company, Ltd. of Japan
has licensed Softlink voice and compression technology to enable users
to send voice email messages to PC computers via their mobile phones.
TelSys is making this technology, as an integrated solution, available
to NTT DoCoMo (www.nttdocomo.com), the largest provider of digital
phones in Japan with a subscriber base of over 25 million customers.
The contract between TelSys and Softlink includes an initial
licensing of Softlink technology with a provision for ongoing
royalties based on customer sales. The service offered by NTT DoCoMo,
which enables the PC to integrate the voice and compress it for
delivery over the Internet, is provided by Softlink's technology.
