Tekboy,

If it's any consolation, in terms of the report you posted - I didn't inhale.

Tell George that by your posting, he may have earned a new subscriber. It looked interesting to me. I know I've been trying to grasp the full 'rules' of posting news articles, other's e-mail posts, links, quotes from books or periodicals, etc... myself.

Then again, imagine my shock as a professional singer to come out of the back stage entrance following a performance I sang the other night and while I was signing autographs for the old ladies, one of them says to me "I just love your recording of Don Giovanni." My shocked reply was - "I didn't make a recording of Don Giovanni!" It turns out somebody in the audience had pirated a recording of a live performance last year and cut a CD for distribution up in Germany somewhere! Not that there is much money in making operatic recordings for the artists, but from the standpoint of Mr. Gilder, I can understand not getting your due. I guess it's time for metal detectors at the opera house....

Ditto on the quality of the Gilder Technology Report. George Gilder is a fine writer, but more importantly he has a
vision of what is driving technology change that is key for investors.

The GTR newletter is a drop in the bucket investment for QCOM investors. It rates as one of the clearest vehicles
for really understanding the underlying technology behind our investments. I rate it a buy!

Best Regards,
Tom

Gilder has gotten more free publicity from Tekboy's "gaffe" than any damage that was caused. He should use such "mistakes" as a marketing tool!
(kind of like the Catholic Church protesting that film Dogma, which I wouldn't have heard of or been interested in seeing if it weren't for the protests!)
