Frederic Conrad, I don't think this particular issue has been discussed here. The criminal elements of our deteriorating society are well aware of the fact that "Joe Blow" is going to be carrying inordinate amounts of cash and other valuables just prior to Y2K. I'm glad you brought it to our attention. My husband and I both have concealed weapons permits, and own guns. This is allowed in the state of Florida where I live. I wonder what people who live in other places that don't allow this will do? I imagine some people will buy guns illegally. And I can't say I'd blame them for trying to protect their property and families. Colleen
