David,

Inasmuch as NRI provides a biometric solution, they are a biometric company. I don't know how you define biometric company...if it is owning algorithms...then no...NRI is not a biometric company as per your definition. If it makes you happy: They are an applications company. However you define it...their products are the same.

Agreed, I have no idea how voice recognition fits in...but I am not running the company...for better or for worse. Is this a transition out of biometrics? Or an expansion on the theory of "more tools" software (i.e. went from finger only to multi-biometric....now multi-biometric...plus??)? I don't know...but it will be interesting to see how it plays out.

Agreed it is good news...agreed it can only help NRI...

Finally, I did not want to continue the NRI/IDX debate on the IDX thread...but why do you think NRI has been "bumped" by IDX in relation to Novell??

Regards,
Bob
