Jim, The macciladoria factories are helping enormously. They give a good wage to the Mexican workers and they are becoming consumers and this helps their economy self generate. The USA unions and other socialist unions hate this as they cannot get recruits from happy well paid workers, so they try and describe these workers as sweatshop inhabitants...a whole week for $50, poor slobs, when a UAW worker gets $1000 + benefits( that is why the UAW has killed enormous numbers of USA jobs by being a driving force behind automation of outsourcing of work). So they now try to kill the mex jobs. The Unions here are more crooked than Mexican officials....well enough rant. Bill
