Andy --

As to the Fibre Channel products, I'm looking into it.

If any others know, please post. At the very least this is additional business going to ASIC customers, but may be a direct entry into FC storage farms competing with others like QLGC..?

As a newcomer, need help...

Jeff

Andy, re fibre channel products from LSI, a quick trip to their home page and one click brought this up:

lsilogic.com

Don't have any more time right now to look, but any company doing fibre interfaces to SAN's or NAS's, like Ancor, Gadzoox, Brocade, bunch of others, or the storage box makers themselves, like EMC, Sun, NTAP, CPQ, IBM, etc. are all potential customers of LSI. LSI, or course, makes the fibre channel controller chips that the above companies would design into their controller boards, or systems. I remember Corrigan at the stockholders' meeting this year mentioning some of these companies as customers, EMC and Sun come immediately to mind. Not to worry, LSI should be getting plenty of design wins in this area.
