Looks like $25+ oil was a catalyst is people's minds. I sold RIG and SII too early, but I would have thought there would have been more of a pullback at 85. I'm really torn about taking profits in GLBL, NOI and FLC. They are still lagging their peers even at today's prices. If we stay above 85 for a few days you have to believe there's still more appreciation left in the OSX laggards.

Still mostly E&P's though.

Hey Big, You Gonna believe Dick Cheney/Halliburton-CEO or Slider??

Just jesting, of course!

Maybe J.L. will use some of his working capital to buy back some of his own shares. From the 10Q:
“During the nine month period ended September 30, 1999, working capital increased by approximately $9.1 million. This increase is the result of earnings during the nine-month period ended September 30, 1999 and the relatively low level of capital expenditures for this period compared to calendar year 1998.”

Or, maybe he is waiting until the dispute is settled and buy the “FLOAT”! heh, heh As you know, J.L. has done buy backs B4!

''We're seeing a definite pick-up in activity and are able to book projects through to the back end of 2000 and 2001,'' Cheney told a London conference....

''Most companies are just starting to sit down and make a rather robust assessment on how much money to spend. I'm reasonably optimistic but we'll know a lot more in two or three months when companies have set their spending plans,'' Cheney said.

The industry is not like a band. They don't all march to the same beat. >grin<
