I think Joy is right. I believe Oracle's CEO also shares the same vision. I can imagine small network appliances throughout my house that may be connected to my husband's PC. My husband's PC would be complicated because he writes code and does other kinds of technical stuff.

[But they could not agree on how these devices will communicate with each other and within a home network, how they will look and feel or even which products will become most popular.]

They can't predict what the consumer will buy because each household will have different needs.
