I got a "bolt from the blue" e-mail last night from a buddy I haven't spoken with in about 6 years. He is a grad student in California right now, and has run into a group of people with a Y2K issue that I had not thought of. This group of people are leftist anarchists. And, on the evening of Dec 31, they have been speaking about firebombing power sub-stations. Even if the power doesn't go out, if enough groups like these guys try stunts like this, it could make for a very messy situtation early in the new year.
