Well maybe, but it brings out exactly the points that have been raised about the weakness of the EV6 architecture. At 1000 pins it will be very expensive and extremely difficult to manufacture, all because of the port rather than shared bus design. Intel's chipsets don't need anything different for a single or dual system. What do you think the pincount will be for a 4-way system?
