One strange thing today is.....

I also noticed that there has quite frequently been a big spread between Bid and Ask......on one of my quotes the Bid was 6 3/32 and Ask was 6 11/32.....

On bb stocks priced from $1 to $10 all size is posted as 500 shares (5)minimum. Very rarely will a mm change the size of his quote as it is not required like it is on Nasdaq to reflect the actual retail order. Size for bb stocks above $10 is 2 x 2, bb stocks from $1/2 to 1 is 2500 x 2500, and bb stocks from 0 to $1/2 is 5000 x 5000. BB stocks that can't qualify for Nasdaq listings such as JAWZ have less visibility than NASDAQ stocks thus some incentive to perform at a level to qualify. Spreads are inherently wider due to the inherent risk taken by both the mm and investor. Be careful.
