People are already taking storage more seriously, just not DD stocks. Any pure play in NAS, SAN, FC, RAID, storage systems generally that has escalating revenues--no matter what the profit--is getting taken up.

However, disk drives will not replace flash. No way. Gilder was wrong about DRAM taking over from drives, and he is wrong about this too. I know IBM would like it so with their microdrives, but over the next couple of years, flash will expand their capacity and lower their cost pretty dramatically. I can't see drives with moving parts replacing them.
