You never answered my question about why we don't lock up people that refuse to donate bone marrow, blood etc.

Well, probably because it's a ludicrous comparison! Besides, I don't believe in killing, period. That's why we have prisons, for violent and dangerous criminals, thieves and what not, not to lock up someone who doesn't feel like giving up bone marrow. I don't believe in killing anyone! It's not for us to decide!!!
And isn't suicide illegal in most states? Go figure...

I shall drop this issue henceforward on this thread because of the strength of feeling against its resurgence. However, I do not wish you to think that I have ignored your posting; I was offline until a couple of minutes ago. So I am posting a response. There is a difference between not taking an active measure to save a life and taking steps to end one. One does not have to be a pro-life man to question whether a woman's right to choose ends at some point.

and why should they be jailed for not donating?? that is ludicrous! that is like saying if my father had a heart attack and needed a transplant i should sacrifice my life for his. that is so insane it is almost incomprehendable.

I didn't answer the question about locking up people who refuse to donate bone marrow, etc. because the comparison isn't valid. We've covered this ground before, anyway.
