Zi mentioned in national business show

As posted on the Yahoo! ZICA message board, Zi was mentioned tonight in a national business show. On the CBC Newsworld Business News (NBN) show, Jack Austin, president of the Canada-China Business Council, talked about the WTO talks between China and Canada.

Before China can be admitted to the WTO, it needs to reach a similar agreement with Canada that it just signed with the US. For example, China will allow up to 49% ownership in telecommunications companies.

Mr. Austin mentioned that the Canadian beneficiaries will be information technology (IT) and telecommunications companies. He specifically mentioned Calgary-based Zi!

The interview will be replayed several times, possibly on tomorrow's NBN show starting at 11:10 AM EST on the CBC Newsworld cable channel.
