to truedog: from C Kahn: Truedog, I have also been woke up, gone to read my Bible, and had it fall open to just the page I needed to read. Discernment of the Holy Spirit is a gift of God, that not all people have. I used to think that this happened to all Christians. But in talking to people I have realized different people have different gifts. I have this gift as well, so I can relate to how you feel. When you pray, ask the Lord to fine-tune it. And when you feel compelled to do or say something, in this manner, pray first. This is what I pray, "Dear Heavenly Father, is this what I want to do? Or is it the Holy Spirit prompting me? In Jesus name, I ask, and I will wait, for your reply." It usually doesn't take but a few minutes until I either know it's me, or feel even more compelled to say or do it. I have waited as long as a few days. But when you have this gift, and you have prayed, and feel even more strongly compelled, do it. I was going to add more, but after I typed "do it", I felt compelled to stop. PRAISE GOD!!!, Colleen
