Don't underestimate the power of the Max-Pain!

I wouldn't be surprised at all to see INTC close Friday at $75 +/- $1.

John,

Re" Coppermine delays"

The truth is out now.

Intel is holding back all its 700Mhz and above Coppermines and 500-600Mhz mobile parts until AMD is ready with its 0.18 micron parts in a few weeks.

As you know Intel new corporate strategy is now to keep AMD alive and well at any cost.

Once AMD releases the 750 Athlons in early december you will see truckloads of floppermines in the channell.

Here's the web-site with all the details:

intelandamdcartelinc.com

I am assured that this new strategy will help Intel reach $100 in a few weeks.

regards,

Kash

RE:"So how can increased margins plus extraordinary demand result in a negative investment posture regarding INTC?"....

I think WStreet is thinking that the Coppermine/i820/Rambo* delays cost Intel Sales and ASPs for the quarter...
I'd would have expected nothing less than great demand for the Coppermine chips and the i820 but I'm not as excited about the demand right off the bat for expensive Rambo*.
I'm also thinking the Celeron is doing very very well at low ASPs or course...
BTW, IB Lettuce for .58 at my favorite discount produce store. <G>
