Seems alot of the problems at SI started when they added real time quotes. Probably too many hits. Time to add/upgrade the servers.

Patricia, thanks for your post. Yeah, I'm sure it wasn't my internet provider. I could get sites like yahoo but everything else I really wanted - quotes (even via direct access), broker, SI, etc - was wayyyyy too slow to load or wouldn't load at all. Flying blind until around 10:20 this morning. Yuck!! Thank goodness the phone still functioned [she says, laughing ruefully] so I could get quotes that way until all was back up. It's days like this that I want to tell all these, er, service providers to get the hardware to handle the demand - even peak demand. Frustrating...
