Ericsson,Visa to develop mobile payment systems

STOCKHOLM, Nov 17 (Reuters) - Swedish telecoms equipment maker Ericsson <LMEb.ST> and credit card company Visa International have signed a deal to develop secure payments over the Internet via a mobile terminal, Ericsson said on Wednesday.

The two companies will develop a payment solution for mobile electronic commerce using Ericsson's Bluetooth wireless wallet.

A smart card can be inserted into the wireless wallet, which can then connect to mobile devices through Bluetooth technology -- where devices can communicate by short range radio frequency rather than cables.

The service will allow customers to buy cinema tickets over the Internet using WAP (Wireless Application Protocol) technology-based mobile phones, which are currently being launched.

Ericsson shares were up 6.5 crowns at 391.5 crowns in a positive market.

The trip has actually been from 406 to 328 ish", over the last few days. Any entity who wanted OUT has had plenty of time to sell.

Do rational buyers wait and see if it goes lower before:

1)4-1 split in ~30days
2)Handset sale with Value Added term benefits is announced
3)HDR High Data Rate INTERNET Road show Gains Speed
4)WTO China/India/South America #'s Begin to filter in ...?

Maybe it will just sit there at $90 after the split,so these rational buyers can buy it before it ascends to $150 based on Probable events....
I think I'll pour a glass of wine and ponder this.

I wonder how long it will be before this trip from 406 to 342 will also be a blip? Anyone?

This "trip" to 342 is nothing more than a blip and it was never anything more than that. Percentage-wise it is a small decline and compared to the speed of the runnup, is nothing.

Is anyone else tired of all the "much ado about nothing?"
