Children Demand End To Conflict <The current war, pitting the Sudan People's Liberation army(SPLA) against the Islamic fundamentalist government in the north has been described as the most brutal conflict in which deadly modern weapons, including aerial bombardment, is being used in a purely traditional setting, with devastating results. Both sides have been accused of human rights violations including abductions, forced labour, indiscriminate slaughter of civilians including children in rebel-held regions and mass starvation>. Also, time for a change....<Although their grievances are to be presented to Sudanese intellectuals and elders, the children believe the answer to their problem lies with the international community's intervention.
