Richard, Good to take profits. I've not look at the First Call angle. I figure the market will be slow through Thanksgiving. MLTX might recede some, but today's volume of 1.6M keeps me hanging on. With the stock's 17M float, I'm surprised that it went up so fast. Volume today was the fifth highest ever. Reminds me of the ORCL situtation in May despite having nothing in common. In that case, MM's appeared short and medium volume jacked price up 50% in a month. Three days of 1M volume for MLTX. Alot of risk of shooting down to $20, but upside is $30. MLTX seems to be everywhere on banner ads. Do I notice it because I'm an investor? Not sure. These alliances with Merrill, SSB, PiperJ on selling reports benefits both sides. I hear First Call quoted alot on CNBC but always with earnings estimates. It seems that Zacks is first call's rival not Multex. PiperJ's target of $31 seems reasonable. Trades at the last minute are encouraging.
$22 13/16 - 15K
$22 3/4 - 15K
$22 7/8 - 40K
All between bid and ask. ~88% Institutional per Iwatch.
Even though it was down, this volume is unusual. MLTX has hit a niche in the market. I use it everyday. Maybe the institutions have decided that MLTX is at a point where entry to compete is cost prohibitive. Good luck to us all. Jack
