Good article. This case has struck a chord with me that goes way beyond the price of the stock. I can sell my stock, but this offends me as an American.

There is no common sense at work here. I just see mealy mouthed government workers setting about to bring down a great company for reasons that are not constructive. And as a citizen, I don't want them to do it, but it is so clear now I have no voice at all, except my vote which will not be for Gore.

How do you appoint a judge to this case who has a track record of anti-microsoft sentiment? Would they select me as a juror if I come in with pre-conceived notions? How does one man (Jackson) have so much power to control billions of market cap with his computer rookie fo"f"? It's all bullshit.

Meanwhile, I just installed AOL 5.0 on my work laptop, and their software is getting more intrusive than ever.
