Is there anybody out there who is actually satisfied with this service?
The rate of people cancelling @home is (or was) lower than the death rate. People are refusing to die so they dont have to give up @home.

This is not to disregard your obvious disgust with problems you are having. There are plenty of stories along those lines too. Plenty regarding DSL as well. Could you please tell us where you live and what cable company?

Are you going back to dial-up?
Eric

I love @home. Absolutely. Never had a problem with it. Maybe your system is not hooked up properly or something. Actually, I can't think of anyone who is unhappy with it.

Why don't you call the cable co that supplies the @home to do a diagnostic test to see what the problem is. Could be something really minor.

>>@Home sucks beyond any possible description and I want it out of my house as soon as possible. Is there anybody out there who is actually satisfied with this service?<<

Could you please explain this a bit more? I had the opportunity to use @Home service while in Irvine, CA and was pleasantly surprised by its speed and reliability. I can't imagine what you are referring to.

I live in Pensacola, FL and @Home service is scheduled to arrive sometime in January 2000. I can't wait.

regards,

Lipo

After occasional hiccups the first couple months, my @Home service has been completely reliable for the past many months. I am more than satisfied right now (and yeah, waiting for the price to drop a bit).
