JDSU "they" are calling the new INTC (the one that used to go up continuously) on TV.

When I started trading 3 l/2 years ago INTC was THE stock. I didn't even know what it did. But so many on Silicon always said they wished that they had just bought it and let it do its thing.

So I did a study of it to see what they were talking about cause it was the same lament. And I found out that over the course of like a year or so it went up like a watch. Some months barely up and then the next month more than made up for it but this I did find out. Over time it was a watch winder. It went up an average of 5/8's a day over time rain or shine. Now if one has 4,000 shares as I could have in those days :)($2,500 a trading day for a year) it would mean a wonderful day and on the INTC thread there were people with splits of it over time that garnered them huge amounts of shares and experienced that. They had college educations bought for their children etc.

Now ironically somewhere I read or heard on CNBC university recently like AOL if bought at the beginning with X shares was worth easily over $l million.

Anyway, I took the year of JDSU and found that with 250 trading days at l82 points that it is .72 a trading day for a year day in and day out. I had thought about getting in the "INTC" of now and my son did today so I was figuring it out here but thought I would share thoughts on it.
