I think it was a commentary, esoteric, on theology. I must tiptoe off to dictionary.com to check my terminology - but before my rape-ear wit is fettered by fact, I'll allow that I think it's about"apples and angel-food".

It's a fancy way of saying that someone expects to create Paradise in the here and now. An idea that runs counter to the belief that the world is Fallen, and that the best we can hope for is glimpses at the perfection that was once and will again be.
