I am on a 28.8 kbps modem and the pages load anywhere from 4 or 5 seconds clear up to 30 seconds or not loading at all. When I went down to the office of our local cable provider to see what the difference would be if I went to a cable modem the pages loaded in about 1/3 of a second with it. I only tried about 15 pages but it was in the middle of the day about 3 weeks ago. I am switching to the cable modem if I ever get my new computer working. I am on a 166, 64mb right now but I have a 450 with 128 ram sitting here that I can't get into.
