Wow, no posts in the last 10 months. I wonder if anyone
still has NWCI on their subjectmarks list?

Well, if anyone's listening, I bought in yesterday at
1 9/16. The company is making good profits from selling
bagel dough, cream cheese, and coffee to their franchisees.
It would be nice to find out how well the franchisees are
doing, but that is not on the company releases, and, with
hundreds of stores across many states, it's a bit difficult
to go ask the store managers. Those here in NYC are doing
fine.

Earnings should be pretty predictable, in the 0.25 range
for this year. Don't see huge growth for them, but they
still have a ways to go to convert all their stores to
their products. I expect they'll continue to buy up some
chains of stores and convert them over in the future. The
CEO Kamfar has shown pretty good business savvy over the
years, and he appears to have finally worked out how to
make money off of this venture - acquisition and conversion.
This is good because he never struck me as a restaurant
guy - someone into the minute details of running a store.

Anyone else have an opinion?
