Whoa, Nellie, just looked at JCP, with a 9% plus yield (which tells me the dividend has a good chance of being cut, which may be beneficial to share price). They are IPOing 20% of Eckerd early next year. Trading near 52 W low, Fitch just cut ratings, earnings slightly ahead of WS estimates, but still not good.

Wallace, regarding REIT ideas. I'm monitoring ARI stock performance closely. Looking to add to my position as stock continues to slide to new lows. Arden is a big player in the Southern California commercial real estate market. Made its reputation, I believe, by buying and fixing class B properties. Dividend about 9% at current price.
