another fact that most brokers consider these trades as a
single trade if made on the same day, so you don't get nailed
on commissions!


This is true for many of the bank discount brokerages (such as
Investorline, etc), however, Schwab charges a commission per trade
even if you are trading the same stock on the same day from the
same side of the market.

Not too many negatives with Schwab, but I feel that this is one.
