Business Editors and High-Tech Writers

PURCHASE, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 18, 1999--

Deal Extends Interliant's AppsOnline.com Offerings to
18 Million Companies Via Reach of Network's 155 Organizations

Interliant, Inc. (NASDAQ:INIT), a leading application service
provider (ASP), today announced that Trade Point Management, Inc.
(TPM), an e-commerce portal management company for the United Nations
Trade Point organizations, Chambers of Commerce and professional
associations, has chosen Interliant as the provider of Web hosting
services TPM offers to the U.N. Trade Point organizations, a network
of domestic and international business to business trade resources for
small and medium sized companies. In addition, TPM will work with
Interliant to co-brand and sell Web hosting services and a version of
AppsOnline.com, a leading Web-based portal of rentable applications,
to the members of the network. Trade Point organizations, in turn, can
offer these Interliant products and services to their 18 million
worldwide small and medium sized business members. Consequently, this
innovative agreement gives 18 million global companies access to
affordable Internet applications, such as Lotus QuickPlace, and Web
hosting services, while creating a powerful distribution channel for
Interliant and an increased source of revenue for the 155 U.N. Trade
Point organizations.
"We chose to partner with Interliant because of their leadership
as an application service provider, their scalability in meeting our
hosting requirements globally and a shared vision of how to empower
small businesses through Web-based services," said Jay Ayres,
president, Trade Point Management, Inc. "Our members will experience
greater efficiencies in productivity and do more business on a global
level."
Initially, Interliant will host the United Nations Trade Point
Florida Web site and plans to add additional Trade Point sites in the
coming months. Interliant will also host a mirrored copy of the
Chinese U.N. Trade Points -- Beijing and Shanghai -- in the U.S. to
provide faster access for the Americas to initiate trade with China.
"Partnering with Trade Point Management, Inc. substantially
extends the AppsOnline.com market and ultimately enables these 18
million companies to use the Internet to expand their businesses on a
global scale," said Brad Nickel, director of Interliant's
AppsOnline.com. "This relationship represents a large step in our
business to business distribution strategy to become the worldwide
leader in Web-based rentable applications and services for small and
medium sized businesses. Interliant recognizes the need for small and
medium sized companies to succeed in the global marketplace, and by
allowing AppsOnline.com business partners to brand our
subscription-based applications to their large customer base,
Interliant facilitates market differentiation and offers valuable
services to these customers."
